This new space transcends mere architecture; is a tribute to the harmony between man and nature, a temple of serenity where sheets of laminated wood and bamboo rise like a shelter over a beach blessed by turtles and dolphins.
The Sacred Leaves are more than a structure – they are a tribute to the ecosystem that embraces them. Respecting the location and getting involved with nature, Kilombo Villas creates a unique tourism experience. This new pavilion curves like an umbracle, an elegant convex structure that echoes the shape of an umbrella. Composed of three sheets of laminated wood and bamboo, this space stands like a modern temple, designed to enhance the connection between man and the environment.

The shaded and airy space is modeled by a designed pattern, a leaf that dances according to the wind, the movements of the clouds and the sun's rays. At night, soft lights emanate from the polycarbonate covering the pavilion, creating a magical view of the three sacred leaves seen from the hotel's villas.
The Sacred Leaves are not just an architectural structure; they are a philosophy in form. Structure thought out down to the details.
The pendant lamps, created by Natalia Priwin's New York lighting firm, are recycled pieces of bamboo that hang from wooden beams. These pieces express the passage of time through verdant oxidation on the copper cylinders they hold.
A refrigeration system made up of pipes circulates through the beams, evaporating aromatic water to cool the environment and nourish the plants that inhabit the place.
The wooden columns that surround the perimeter of the Sacred Leaves create a classic portico overlooking the sea. These columns are carved with an anthropomorphic shape 2.3 meters high, exactly the same height as the Tribune of the Caryatids in the Erechtheion temple of Athens, Greece. This temple was built as a shrine to Poseidon, the god of the oceans.
Inspired by the Erechtheion temple, Kilombo Villas aimed to build a true sacred temple by the sea. The structure was designed to be the same size as the Tribune of the Caryatids to evoke that sense of divine connection in your private paradise.
With its Sacred Leaves, Kilombo Villas offers more than just luxury accommodation. It offers an experience that honors nature, celebrates architecture and renews the soul of visitors. Each column is unique, with its own shadow cast by the complex geometry of the roof.
In pursuit of a minimal ecological footprint, Sacred Leaves were constructed from laminated wood from fast-growing trees, bamboo and other natural materials. Its structure is designed to be dismantled, transportable and recyclable, following the principles of the circular economy.
Names such as Daniel Florez, Luis Inglada, Wendy Cryz, Marcio Medeiros (Enecol), Dr. Everaldo Pletz and Natalia Priwin are part of this unique project, contributing with their visions and talents.
